Located in the BBC Media Village, the Royal College of Arts White City campus houses the School of Arts & Humanities programmes of Critical Writing in Art & Design, Curating Contemporary Art and School of Communication programmes in Animation, Information Experience Design and Visual Communication, as well as practice-based and taught research programmes including the MRes RCA pathway in Communication Design.
Opening in September 2017, the White City site is the newest addition to the RCA campus, and is equipped with state of the art bespoke studio, workshop and technical spaces that have been designed particularly for RCA students. The site adds a new dimension to the College’s cultural offer, with opportunities for collaborations, exhibitions and events.
The Catering facility was designed by leading UK Food Service Consultants, TRICON to offer a high-street style café environment, including grab & go food and barista coffee solutions.
Shine where carefully selected by Overbury Plc, the main Interior fit-out contractors, to deliver the Catering Facility to a very tight programme.
The project was installed using Proline Food Service counters incorporating bespoke finishes and back of house, Stainless Steel Kitchen fabrications. Other partnered suppliers on this project include Fosters refrigerator, Rational and Hobart Warewashing.
