Food digestion 

Food Digesters allow operators to responsibly and economically dispose of their end-of-life food waste onsite with considerable benefits to the environment. The food waste bio-digester has the capacity to efficiently dispose of up to 180kg of food waste, converting this to water in under 24 hours.

The onsite solution addresses the issues of ever-increasing transport and disposal costs by using bio-remediation technology to eliminate food waste on-site. Suitable end-of-life food waste is loaded into the chamber throughout the day and is mixed with enzymes that safely break down the end-of-life food waste completely. The waste water goes straight to drain leaving no residue to deal with for the operator.

Demand control Ventilation 

Cheetah demand based ventilation control system in accordance with BESA Specification For Kitchen Ventilation Systems DW/172 2018, for the automatic synchronised adjustment of the extraction and supply air flow rates.  The system is designed to modulate the HVAC contractor’s EC (electronically Commutated) Fans, to reduce fan energy consumption, noise and heating/chilling loads to the supply air.  If the catering ventilation system is the only system within the area, the minimum 20 air changes per hour will be maintained, right up to the full rate as calculated by the Thermal Convection Method.

The system automatically detects temperature, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, smoke and steam to regulate the demand, and can actuate volume control dampers to reduce flow rates in sections of the canopy whilst maintaining velocity through the grease separators where required.  

The system is designed to fail safe to the maximum designed flow rate, and upon actuation of a fire suppression system, open the volume control dampers. We would recommend that a 12 month service contract is commissioned by the operator, and that price will be listed separately.

Non Food Waste Handling & collection

Management and handling of non-food waste from sites is becoming ever more costly and onerous. With non food waste accounting for circa 80% of the disposable product from a catering facility and this normally being removed on a £/volume basis, innovative and cost effective ways of reducing the volume and sorting the waste into recycling streams are good for both your pocket and the environment

Waste Compactors 

Waste compactors are an ideal way to reduce the volume of general waste normaly collected on a £/volume basis & dry mixed recyclables (plastics, paper, cans etc), cutting down the number of waste containers on site  by 75%, simplifying waste management & delivering both financial & environmental benefits






Balers for recycling 

Balers provide a cost-effective means of removing card, polythene or other recyclables from the waste stream, increasing recycling output and helping to keep waste areas clean and tidy. They dramatically reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill, thus cutting the cost of waste disposal, and in cases where there is a high volume, may produce an income from the recyclable material.

Glass Crushers 

Glass Crushers are ideal for use in hotels, bars, pubs & clubs, where waste storage is at a premium, in order to safely reduce the volume of glass. A small under-counter model allows customers to crush bottles behind the bar eliminating the need for bottle bins.
